I loved that movie, I lived in Seaside for a couple of years and always had to laugh that they rode their bikes from the Goondocks to Haystack rock about 25 or 30 miles away

Heck yeah. A group of kids I hung out with when I was really little reminded me of the Goonies. My mom would be playing tennis, and we'd all watch TV in the storage area above the racquetball courts. Probably 88 or 89––and were dressed like it was 88 or 89.

ETA: Love Spaceballs, too. Can't count how many times I've seen it.
