Anyone taken thought of how they will meet their family's needs for spiritual guidance/teaching/devotional needs should you become isolated?

Just thinking about it - lots of us have Bibles gathering dust.  I have started taking a direct step by step read thru and study of the scriptures and we hold church here at home a lot since we don't have a home church to attend right now.

Fellowshipping with like minded believers is important but if you are quarantined, lost as a group - shipwrecked, plane crash, etc. and unable to attend your church, have you studied enough or spent time learning to promote your family's spiritual well-being?

Hopefully, lots of folks on this forum are prepared for many different scenarios.

I am not trying to start a religious discussion here.  Tj, you can move this if you feel its better in the Religious forum.

I am interested in what others are doing or planning to do to look after their own in times of distress.

I never used to think I wanted to be a Deacon or Elder.  But as I get older, I see that it would be a noble calling.

As for the original post.  I have a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl.  We pray for dinner and other times as they come up.  And I've been faithful to every day, or nearly every day read a lesson to them out of a children's daily lesson bible to them.  And sometimes my wife will follow up with a Gigi book lesson.  And then we pray.  As they get older, obviously I'll have to get more in depth with them.  But that little bit of time is a blessing.  My wife still remembers when they did it as children as well.
