I downloaded a shot timer app on my phone b4 going to the range.
I've never competed before and was wondering if I'm running good times as I'm not sure what "good" is. I'm running a full size Springer 1911 with a tlr1 hanging on the front , 8 rounds. 1st shot in .600 Avg splits of .18 1.92 total time. All shots within 6" from 21 feet. Are these acceptable times? (Can't seem to find anything online) ETA- So I've decided to start competing either ipsc or uspsa (still researching) in whatever class is for stock 1911s (again, still researching) So can anyone recommend an open top kydex holster with a couple of inches of drop that would meet the regulations for these shoots?
