I am really looking forward to playing this game, but I haven't got it yet, waiting to see if it goes on sale in the next few weeks at any of the major retailers. Gamespot gave it a decent score, so I don't think it will suck, but maybe someone with some actual game time can chime in. |
| It's enjoyable so far. I'm still on my first creature and I'm almost done with the civilization stage. Most of the gameplay is fairly simple. The real depth comes with the customization of your creature, and later on, your buildings and vehicles and how you choose to play your civilization. |
I played the first part, and when it came to making my creature I fucked it up and couldn't figure out how to un-fuck him so I have up on it. Gonna try again today |

I was watching this game very closely but decided I'm not gonna get it. I've got it so that I maybe get 2-3 games a year and right now I'm waiting for GTA:IV on the PC and the Mines of Moria expansion for Lord of the Rings Online. Everything went bust on Age of Conan, pretty pissed they screwed that up given how long I'd followed it and waited for it. I'm convinced that Spore will just be a let down given how long I tried to follow it, how long it was delayed, and the fact that EA aquired the company mid way through it's production. |
Im torn between Spore, Warhammer, or blow the $55 on something else. I had AOC but never opened it and ended up taking it back, dodged that |
