This is a pick of a buddy of mine. Now, the AR is not his, it belongs to some guy (who apparently knew everything there is to know about ARs) that showed up in the gravel pit where my buddy was plinking.

There's nothing wrong with the rifle. That's a high speed, low drag front sight. [:D]

It's kinda hard to tell from this pic (other than from the muzzle brake), but the barrel is stainless, so it seems to be a factory custom rifle, or just a plain custom job.

looks like he's got a side swivel mount on the front sight, yet is using the bipod for mounting the sling.

Speaking of the sling, looks like a hunting model.  What's up with that?

it's hard to tell from the pic but it looks like the handguard is on upside down, the barrel doesn't line  up with the recoil tube.
