I was in MA this past weekend and went over to Springfield to take the tour at the Springfield Armory. When I got there, they had a poster up describing their new tours of their second-floor storage area. WOW! I saw more priceless rifles last saturday than I imagined possible. '03 Springfield s/n 1.....M-14 s/n 1....many many more. It so happened that I was the only one on the tour that day, and the site historian was the one that took me around. A one-on-one private tour of their storage collection. What more could I ask. If you are in the area, go on a saturday....the best 12 dollars I have spent in a long time! |
