Does anyone actually use the holster that comes with the gun?

I find it utterly useless myself

Junk. I tried it out once or twice just while at the range, and it was horrible. Then again I am not a big fan of that type of holster, period.

My holster progression has been a CTAC, then a Supertuck, and now a MTAC. I haven't seen any other holster that has made me want to even try it over my MTAC.

Have it, like it - I have an M3 light, so it's mostly a table gun.  What's wrong with the holster?  I'd use it to CC if not carrying my 1911.

I didnt get a holster with mine, but I have a fobus similar to it. I like the fobus well enough but prefer something that a belt threads through to secure the holster.

I use mine all the time but have wanted to get something different for sometime now. It's all I've ever known so I don't know what's good and what isn't. I keep wanting to try something like a Comptac I think it's called because I like to tuck my shirts in, but don't know how it would feel.

For concealed carry it is worthless. For the range it is ok.

The springfield paddle is actually pretty decent... The belt holster that came with mine is semi-OK for the range, if you've got a really stiff belt...

I carry in a Comp-Tac MTAC... This is with an XD45C (4")... I can run across a parking lot without touching the firearm with my hand. It's so comfortable that I almost forget I'm carrying it, and don't have to wear an undershirt. It doesn't print under just a T-shirt.

I will have an MTAC for every pistol I carry...

Well, first thing I did when I opened my XD's box was ditch that POS holster and bought another POS holster, a Fobus SP11.

Then, I finally got my head on straight and ordered a Don Hume "First Agent" OWB.

It kicks ass.

I don't like it at all

The only use I could think of for it would be if I wanted to mount a holster to something, like in the car or under a desk.

My XD45 rode in a Ross OWB or a CTAC, I switched to a G19 which fits the same Ross and rides in a Supertuck at work.

My Fobus only gets used when I know I'm going to and from somewhere that requires me to leave the gun in the car.

I carry my XD45 in a comptact OWB belt holster in the winter under a jacket.

I used it in my first IDPA match, and it worked reasonably well.

Now I use a Serpa for OC and a C-Tac for CC. Both are far superior, but we all know that.

I do!! Its perfect for slipping on while you mow the yard or go for a walk. Alot of times I just slip the paddle in my pocket. Its shit for concealing it though. I use it alot.

I don't know if they are still doing it or not but if you are left handed, you can email customer service and they will send you a paddle one for free.

POS. I used mine once at the range. The only XD gear I use is the mag holders. I use it to keep my spare mags from clunking around in my backpack at school.

It was a POS however I did get a XD paddle and love it.  Fits well and has an easy slide in/out.. (yeah baby)
