| So finally after caving to this company and paying them for charging me double for a month I went in today to pay my phone bill after Apu said they won't credit my account when they basically double charged me. I'm paying the bill and notice a sign behind that counter that says " SMILE, Stop Thinking So Much." This is why their employees are idiots, why would you not want your employees to think for themselves. I almost told them to just cancel my account because I hate bad companies/businesses but figured that this was expected from a company as bad as Sprint. So is this what business is coming to in retail, low payed employees who are just drones? |
| Before I switched to Verizon I had Sprint. Their employees are the reason why I switched. I walked in one day to pay my bill with cash. This fat bitch says, "Just put your payment in the drop box, please." I said, "I'm paying cash." She replies, "That's fine, put the money in the envelope and we'll take care of it." At this point I had to explain to her that I had a hundred dollar bill, and my phone bill was around half of that. I needed change. She actually got upset that I made her get her fat ass off of her stool, just to give me change. Isn't that their job? There was one other customer in the store, and they were being helped by another employee. I never knew paying a phone bill would be so hard, most businesses actually want to take your cash from you. The next week I cancelled my service. |

Actually, Sprint customer service has been excellent to me. I was having problems with my first phone, and they gave me a new one on the spot. That one went to shit, I went in again, they told me since I had had trouble with the same model before, they'll give me full-price credit for it towards a new model, and I would only have to pay the difference. That was awesome, seeing as I bought the phone for $85 or so, and they gave me $250 credit. That phone started randomly turning off (I may have spilled beer on it) and I went in yesterday and they looked at it and just gave me a newer model of it. They also look at my history and gave me a $50 credit off of my next bill because of all the problems I had with the hardware. The service in my area blows everybody else away. That's just me though. I know others who have had problems, but every single time I have had an issue, they've been great to me. |

Just wait until you go to cancel the account and they charge an extra month EACH time you go to cancel it. They told me I had to give 30 days notice. I did. 25 days later I get a bill for the next month because you pay for the service in advance. WTF? I call and they tell me I have to give 30 days notice on the billing date for it to count. Billing date was 2 days before. So, I pay for another month, but they tell me that I need to wait another cycle. We are roughly 2 and 1/2 months for me trying to cancel the account. I go another 30 days from the exact billing date and at that 30 day mark they inform me they have to have it in writing..... 8 years later and I still have a charge off for $80 on my credit report that I refuse to pay. Lovely company and wonderful customer service.
