Well, it seems that one of my IPODs walked away...the smaller "gym IPOD". THe bigger one stays home attached to the stereo. Too bad as I carried that damned thing all over Ramadi, Iraq for the better part of a year and it served me well. I had heard that there was a way to call apple to disable the thing if the knucklehead tried to connect to Itunes...Ideas?

Do you know the SN? Check Craigslist, seriously.  Or call Apple.

If I'm not mistaken your serial # should be on record w/ apple from when you first hooked it up to itunes and/or the iPod updater. Give their customer service a call, who knows they might even have a way to track it through itunes or the updater software & an IP.
