Donald Kerwin, executive director of the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, provided The Sun with a copy of its letter to the department on Thursday. He said the organization hasn't yet received a response to the letter, which was sent on June 3. The letter states hollow-point bullets expand by 160 percent on impact, and it asks the department to reconsider using them as it prepares to purchase approximately 225 million rounds of ammunition. |
