| Makes the old HP model look yellow and dim. The dual switch/tail cap option is a sweet thing. No more fingerfucking for the top switch while getting out of the car. Strobe is nice to have on accidents and traffic details. |
| I like what the light offers and I have had one in service for a little over a year. The first DS I had went back to retailer within a week of its arrival with a defective switch. Its replacement lasted about a year before it too had switch issues. Streamlight had the light for about a month and repaired the light on their dime. Only time will tell if this my experience is due to bad luck or if there are inherent problems with the DS. |
