Makes the old HP model look yellow and dim.  The dual switch/tail cap option is a sweet thing.  No more fingerfucking for the top switch while getting out of the car.  Strobe is nice to have on accidents and traffic details.

I like what the light offers and I have had one in service for a little over a year. The first DS I had went back to retailer within a week of its arrival with a defective switch. Its replacement lasted about a year before it too had switch issues. Streamlight had the light for about a month and repaired the light on their dime. Only time will tell if this my experience is due to bad luck or if there are inherent problems with the DS.

My only bitch about it is the size difference between it and my Stinger XT.

I meant to buy one for myself for Christmas.  Good light.

I've heard a ton of complaints about those switches failing.  The Pelican 7060 has it beat IMO.

So far, I like mine. It's only been in service for a little over two weeks, though. It didn't fit in the carrier for that I put my HP in, but that was to be expected with the difference in grip size.

+1 I had the orginal Stinger LED (1 switch) and the switch failed after about 3 months. Each time you clicked, you would get either On, Off, or Strobe.

I've had a single switch model in service since they first came out with no issues at all and got a second one this past summer (the new ones are brighter than the original ones) and have had no problems with it either. I love these lights.

Going on a year of nights, still works great.
