With this recent Zumbo incident most if not all gun owners are strongly united. We need to seize the day and stop a future AWB. The government is trying to pass this new ban by piggy backing it in with a bill to research near earth objects. The time is now write your government leaders and make them stop this. The bill is H.R.1022. I urge you to research this yourself then start mailing letters. I also urge you to spread the word post this on all gun forums you are a member of. Don't forget to inform your friends and family as well. I had snail mail letters out but I just fired off an e-mail as well.. Mr. Bourcher, I am sending you this e-mail as a reminder from gun owners to help defeat HR 1022 (the new "assault weapons" ban). This bill clearly violates the 2nd Amendment, restricts our guaranteed civil rights to own such weapons while doing nothing to deter criminals. You have been a friend to gun owners, and it has been appreciated. Today I am asking you to continue this relationship by voting against this bill and any other bill that restricts gun rights.
