How does paying with a COD work? Do you pay for it when it is delivered or what?

You normally pay when delivered.

I seen UPS leave something that was COD before though

As an interesting note, most CODs cannot be paid for in cash....

Well i ordered some stuff and i chose the cod method and ups delivered while i was not here....i haven't paid for it and it was delivered anyway....and there was no bill or nothing in the package

Haha nice. Delivery man must have forgot/not realized it was COD.

UPS will accept COD's, but it has to be paid for with certified funds (money order or certified/cashier's check).

Actually, COD terms are specified by the shipper. So the terms could be a number of things.

Contact the person/company you bought it from and explain the situation. Im sure they will be glad to make arrangements for you to pay them.

I would think someone will be back to at least try and collect the funds. I agree that you should just pay for your merchandise whether someone comes back for the money or not.
