Last night I was able to put the slide stop back in on my S.A. Ultra Compact without my husband's help! I had not broke this gun down in 2 years because of my husband bitching. I got brave last night and a dream helped me get it back together.I worked at trying to get it back together for 2 hours and gave up. I went to sleep worrying about it.I dreamed that I used a hand size piece of soft cow hid to hold the slide back and push the slide stop in. I awoke about 2:00 a.m. from this dream. I got the cow hid out of my husband's flintknapping kit and gave it a try.Well it worked! [:D] |
