So I go sunburned on certain areas of my body a week ago and it's sbeen healing and skin peeling off last two days. Those areas are now very tanned.

I need to go out into the sun again today

Other areas of my.body didn't get burned and are very pale.

Should I apply high spf sunblock only on the burned /darkened areas? I found 70 spf completely stops any tanning and burns. Or should I spray a lower spf all over.my body, like 30 spf, and probably get some tan.

My goal is to even out the tans all around my body

Have you tried covering yourself with crisco and getting a tin foil reflector?

Fixed it for you.

Never understood adults who don't use sunscreen and a little sense.  It's not like we don't know about sun burn and what it causes.

The key is to apply3 different spf  numbers all over your body similar to woodland  camo patterns

Old guy commenting.

Yeaaah, I remember those days.  House rentals with the guys at Seaside Heights, etc.  Gotta have that glowing dark tan.  Now I can see the skin damage, and am about at the point where the doctor needs to eyeball things occasionally.  My father has had numerous skin problems removed (he's in his 80s), so I see what may be in my future.

The recommended approach, if you need the tan, is to use a bronzer and stop torching your skin, the body's largest organ.  You will come to this point of view; it is a matter of time, decay, and experience.   No one escapes the burning rays of the sun, hissing down malevolently in search of a person to impact.  Wait, what?

You will still get tan with sunscreen on...

If you're that concerned about your tan OP get a spray on.

You probably should wear clothing that covers your body and a hat, and wear sunblock on your face and neck.
