I want to conduct the "Meissner Effect" experiment.

Does anyone work with or have access to the superconductor material I need for this?

I need a piece approximatly 1" in diameter .25" thick.  the dimentions are not important just that it is a flat piece

Thank you

You immerse it in liquid nitrogen and the rare earth magnet levitates.

It is easy enough to buy the superconducting material.

It is harder to convince a welding supply house to sell you the liquid nitrogen.

good luck

We have a 10,000 gallon holding tank at my job

All I can find online are kits for $40-$100
all I need is the one component

I'm not sure which superconducting material specifically works best
