www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=1039792 Support of Romney for President is Dropping March 27th, 2007 @ 5:55pm (KSL News) A new poll shows support is dropping for Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney. The poll done by USA Today shows only three percent of Republican and Republican-leaning voters support Romney, down from eight percent earlier this month. The paper says part of the drop could be blamed on the announcement from former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson saying he may enter the race. Republicans for Romney --Today 3% --Early March 8% Support for Other Candidates --Thompson 12% --McCain 22% --Giuliani 31% Twelve percent of Republicans say they would back him as a candidate, making him the third most popular behind former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Arizona Senator John McCain. ------------------------------- Keep up the good work guys. |

Well apparently McCain has no funding and Giuliani is only a big hit up north, Fred Thompson needs to go for it. I'm a no go for Giuliani I doubt he'd argue with any of the Bills going through right now, HR 1022, pulling out of Iraq, etc. This is the REPUBLICAN party. Not Democrats who are in favor of lower taxes. |
That's what I was thinking too. He's at 12% and he has no officially accounced platform nor even confirmation that he's in the race. That's fucking amazing. I have no doubt with a platform and announcement, he'd sweep McCain off the floor and be giving Rudy a hard time. GO FRED! |
