The M65 field jackets go for about $30. I recently bought a woddloand Gortex for $80, it was lilke new, other camo patterns were availabel in all sizes, in all conditions for similar prices. The Gortex jackets range from about twenty dollars for a nearly worn out example, to about $90 for one that is brand new never used. ETA: This applies to the Fayetteville, NC area, I was there visiting the wifes folks when I decided I needed a Gortex. |

As a slight hijack.... How do you remove patches and name tags from a field jacket? I was given one by a co-worker but I just can't wear it with his CIB, Ranger tab, Airborne wings and Pathfinder tabs attached. Let alone the Division patch. He said something like they're glued on? |
