As someone who collects various militaria, I recently bought a new swagger stick.

This is over 26" in OAL, and made from Golden Oak with a nice lacquer coating to protect it.

It has metal tips, and an American National Eagle adorning the top portion.

I enjoy carrying this while walking in the woods, and it makes a nice accessory for "stepping out" to formal events (I guess you will have to check your service's uniform regulations first of course).

I included my Colt Combat Commander (which also has American Eagle grip panels) in the first photo to show the size.

I purchased this from an on-line dealer at...

Swagger Sticks Dot Com

He makes these to order.  He has several styles in his catalog, prices are reasonable, and I was impressed with the quality of his product and how quickly he shipped my item.

Thought some of my military brothers might be interested in having one of these also.

I have only ever known one Sgt major to carry a swagger stick at formal occasions. His was adorned with the symbol of his MOS corps not the army logo or the US eagle.

The British have a long tradition of these things though
