I've never seen dehydrated water before.

Neat! I bought some of the dehydrated water one's. They are only the size of a quart container.

They would make for cool trash cans.

A long time ago I was in one of KC's many limestone cave industrial parks and saw a mountain of old CD survival supplies piled up and moldering away outside one of the closed in areas.  It was all in cardboard cartons and was slowly melting back into the earth from which it came.

Makes me wonder if FEMA and DHS aren't repeating the same mistake trying to stockpile billions of dollars worth of food and other supplies.  It doesn't keep forever, even in ideal storage conditions - and what government agency has ever done anything quite right?

Just add 1:1 parts water, and it rehydrates itself.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think water stored from the sixties is gong to taste very good.

I'm pretty sure they dont contain water ... i think it might just be the containers... not sure. I really don't need them, but I signed up to buy 2, just because i think they are pretty cool. When I get them, I will most definetly do an update with more pics

I do like the instructions on the bottom "to reuse as commode"
