I've been looking at some of the films of the Syrian rebels (FSA) on Liveleak. So far I have not seen one person actually take proper aim with his weapon. Do they know something we don't know about shooting, or is "Aloha Snackbar" guiding their rounds?

That's called "The Middle Eastern Method", or "The African Method" when on the African Continent.

A subset is the "Beirut Method" when they are partying or marching down the middle of a street, shooting into the air.

It's not the round addressed to you that you should be concerned about. It's those addressed "to whom it may concern" . . . .

From what i can this is nothing new. In iraq the defense force would be issued AK47s and they would remove the stocks and attach a sling to the screw hole in the back. They would then proceed to hip fire. very common apparently in that region of the world. Pic related.
