| Now there's authentic Mexican food. |
|
I've eaten real Mexican food in Mexico hundreds of times, and never gotten sick from it. Food chains where I have gotten food poisoning include McDonald's, Jack In The Box, Burger King, Wendy's, and Arby's. I haven't eaten at a Taco Bell in about 30 years. Their food sucks. |

I ate it on Sunday and didn't get sick. I've gotten sick from Taco Bell before. It's not "authentic" Mexican food. The only restaurants that really serve "real" Mexican foods are the ones run by Mexicans. I've been to a few "real" Mexican restaurants. One is a burrito place near me, the other one is a restaurant near me, and the other is one in the Pilsen neighborhood in Chicago, an area that is predominately Hispanic. |
Ya know what is really scary? The airport in Las Vegas doesn't appear to have anything to eat except taco bell. A fun thought that you will be sharing a single or maybe two restrooms with 150 other people on a flight from LV to RDU, and they all just ate taco bell too.

A friend of mine does camera work in Hollywood. He's recently worked on some Taco Bell commercials. Their marketing department is indeed ingenious, but they speak a straaaaaange language. The use terms like "cheese identity" and "shred integrity" in describing the idealized specimens of their menu items, which are of course sculpted on the spot for each shoot. I'm not making this up. |
