Just curios as to how many people here have had problems with their online stores? Seems they operate too many sites to even list (NEFGuns, MidwestHuntersOutlet, TopGlock and a tons more). I checked the archives but didn't find much there.

TSGCOM and it's other shell corporations, as well as it owner-Eric Thompson- is a shady group. We have also had problems, in the EE here,  with their employees, taking money and not delivering the goods and mis-representing items and not refunding money.

Stay away from them.

I hate to say it but I was DUMB enough to order from them (this past Tuesday). During some Google searches I came across a lot of negative feedback but it was mainly centered around TGSCOM's websites stating that something was in stock when it really wasn't. I needed a mount for my H&R slughunter and no one had one in stock. I ran across NEFGuns.com and against my better judgement I decided to order the mount. Before I did I called the customer service number and asked if the mount was in stock. The guy on the phone said they had 8 In Stock. I told him I was hesitant to order due to some neg feedback I had read. He threw me the "we do a ton of sales each month so there are bound to be a few disgruntled people" line. I actually told him " I hate to do it, but I guess I will roll the dice" and placed my order.

After 3 days of my order status not changing, I called customer service and said I wanted to know what was up. I was then informed that "In Stock" meant that the product was at "one of their warehouses" and it would be 7-10 days before it shipped. I told them to cancel my order and then came the "we will cancel the order but you will pay us 15% for restocking it" spiel. I slowly went up the service ladder and ended up having a 45 minute back and forth with a manager that was very well trained to do whatever it took to frustrate and make up far fetched excuses. After a battle of wits, which was actually pretty polite on both ends, he agreed to drop the $7.00 charge for an order that was never in stock any way.

Midway ended up having the mount back in stock and they promptly were given my business. I had tried earlier to order from both they and Optics Planet but neither had it in stock at the time (DedNutz H&R scope mount).

Moral of the story, shame on me for going against my gut. I will be watching my credit card closely for any erroneous charges. I did receive a cancellation email with a notation that a late fee would not be charged. AVOID TGSCOM at all costs.
