so this stimulas, AKA: obama excuse to spend 780 bill on whatever the fuck he wants, is not doing shit for me. I am a single guy, I make under 35k per year...I am RESPONSIBLE, I do not buy things I cant afford. The thing I'm pissed about is this car credit bull shit. I just bought a brand new AMERICAN company car in December, so its less then 3 months old. I needed a new car and I figured I was doing my part, however small it may be, to help american automakers out, so I stuck with american company. Well guess what, his BS credit only applies if you purchase the car now till the end of the year....WHAT ABOUT ME??? His basis and resonings behind the credit fully applies to the reasons I bought a car, but I get nothing... Its the same crap with everything I have heard he wants to do....irresponsible people who signed morgages that were more then they could afford (NOT everyone in trouble is because of there own doing I know, but I feel most are, especually when it comes to the morgage crises)...I mean what ever happoned to sticking to your part of the bargen? My parents for example are respnsible as well, they lost a lot of value in there savings, ect....but they made sure to have safeguards in place so they would never loose there home...and what do they get...NOTHING... AND everything is OK IN THE NAME OF CREATING JOBS, even though most of the jobs are short term and then will mean nothing... It seems to me the people who benifit are for the most part, the people who were irrisponsible with there money and signed morgages that were 40-60 or higher percent of there income...WTF? Now myself, other responsible americans and MY CHILDER and proboly there childern are left owing almost 1 trillion to other countries like china just so welfare people and single mothers with 4 kids from 4 fathers can get a new car, get more unimploymnet, stay in a house they dont deserve and get free medical care while my grandparts wait in line for treatment they need and deserve????????????? And in the end, all this crap is doing is helping to drag out this depressing time.... Oh ya, but i do get a "tax break" of less then 25 bucks per check come JUNE when, by that time, i might not have a job becuase the economy just keeps sinking... what happopned to a free market???? The price of everything got over inflated, so instead of letting the market deflate to where it should be and find ballence, our wonderfull christlike, godlike, gift to all mandkind celebrity president is doing everything he can to keep prices inflated, give free shit to people who dont deserve it at the expence of people who do...BS! ...end of rant, had to get it out... |

NO, from what I saw on the news it is a tax CREDIT, NOT a deduction...as in you can take you standard deduction, and clam the sales tax as a CREDIT... I know that sales tax is deductable, even without this stimulas, like for 2008 taxes i tryed plugging in all my deductions, including sales tax, but my standard deduction was higher... Unless the local columbus FOX news is wrong in what they reported, then what I saw was that the perk from the stimulas bill is a tax CREDIT on next years taxes from sales tax on a new vehical. From what I understand a credit is a direct return of federal taxes you have paid... so as long as you payed more then 800 in fed. taxes for the year, and you paid 800 in sales tax on a new vehical that was under 50k, then you will get a credit of 800... like i said, thats what my local news reported, its what they said, and its what was on the screen in plain english... |

Are you sure you have enough info to base that statement off of? 2) "Ambitious now means greedy", I would agree with that, especually when it comes to the fat cats and CEOs that helped get us into this mess in the first place by living it up while the hard workers who kept the wheels turning got barily enought to support there familys. 3)"hard working means racist"...eh? I dont even know what to make of this comment. I will say though, that I can honestly know that I have never judged someone based on race in my life, when i see someone i see a human, nothing else, my opinion of them is formed souly on thier actions and how they carry themselves. When obama was first elected I made a post stating that the american thing to do was to give him a chance...I got about 30 responces saying "fuck you" and then the thread was locked. I dont think i am being punished, I think our county overall is though, it seems to me like the most deserving of recieving help are getting a VERY small peice of the pie, while many who are less deserving are getting big pieces...and I belive we will all be punished for years to come...and maybe americans (in general) should be punished as I notice more and more winey, impatient, ungreatful, uneducated glutinus people every day, slowly turning into the majority...but the problem is, instead of letting us all wake up and change the way we think and act and spend money, this stimulas is going to prolong it to where the next generation, who had nothing to do with our current problems and going to be left payng for it. anyway, your welcome to youe opinion, and if you want to try to slam on me some more i would recomend going after my absolute HORIBLE spelling, and the fact i am to lazy to check over my posts to correct any grammer mistakes. |
