Why would an x-ray be something someone would try to use as evidence? Just open the damn jar and see what's in there.

The last time I remember the Sci-Fi channel having a documentary about video tape being found on a dig-site, it turned out to be a publicity gimmick which became known as "The Blair Witch Project". Bad movie but brilliant marketing.
