Every time I open up my YouTube I see a little dot next to the Magpul icon. I'm hoping each time I click on the dot it will be the tmags. Unfortunately they continue to push purses, Fanny packs and other items that no one asked for.

The company technically didn't get outright sold, at least. That's a surprising move - I thought Magpul was successful enough to not need outside investors to that extent. ETA: Just saw that this occurred back in 2011. That's not such a surprising move then. They were still a young company back then. I was thinking that someone was saying the whole company got handed over like a Cerberus situation. |

It's because of some NY investment firm that we do not have "Art of the Dynamic MRE Spoon". |

Every other mag goes in no problem but the lancers I have to fight to get to lock in might wanna count the rounds when you load the mag, probably have 31 bullets in the 30 round mag It's variation from rifle to rifle. I have one AR that takes a bucketload of force to lock a full lancer with the bolt closed. Most are normal, and a couple somewhere in the middle. The mags themselves are consistent. Realistically it's a tolerance stack problem and Lancer mags are simply less tolerant of a rifle towards the stack limit. I'm sure they have a team of engineers saying "our mags are fine if the rifle is to spec", but many other mags don't have the same sensitivity. Pmags and USGI mags plop right into my problem rifle. That they're specifically noting the 22% force reduction to load with closed bolt shows they know it is a concern. Having said all of that I still think they are the best mags. If I only had 1 or 2 mags I would want them to be Lancers. Tmags at ~$24 MSRP are basically pointless to me when smoke Lancers can be had for ~$10-12. They need to cost less than Lancers out in the wild. But Magpul has plenty of well earned loyalists and they'll sell 'em just fine. |
