[ARCHIVED THREAD] - TMJD?

I've had a loud popping noise on the left side of my jaw for years. It occasionally pops kind of like popping your fingers or back. Always loud enough for others to hear it. But in the last few weeks I started having pain on that same side of the jaw. Today it is a constant dull pain with sharp pains when I eat.

Does anyone have experience with TMJD? I dont have the money to go to a doctor right now so I thought I'd ask all the Arfcom docs and resident know-it-alls.

I used to mess with a girl in highschool, kind of a villlage bicycle type of deal. Anyway she had no gag reflex but the worst TMJ ever. Tell me that ain't a bitch.
