is awesome.
That is all. |

They were definitely talented and unique. That goes a long way nowadays.. even back then. While not my favorite band, I have to give them props. They probably would have gained alot more respect if they would have broken up while they were at their peak, because the only thing that turns me off about them is the fact that they just have that "one" style. The kinda band where if you heard one song of theirs, you've almost heard them all.
Stripper friend of mine used to fuck Danny Carey when he would come into town. I never got to meet him though. |

Undertow and a handful of tracks off of AEnima were solid...
I can only take Maynard in small doses... APC has some gems and a lot of crap... I like some of the Puscifer songs i've heard... the worst part about tool are the fans. just like slipknot and disturbed, and other "hard rock" bands... if they weren't surrounded by such terrible goof balls people would take their music more seriously... |

There is much truth here. ^^^^ I also appreciate bands that use their stage shows to make a statement about their musical views (and not just their political views.) Slipknot, with their masks, and Tool, with their 'anti-band' stage set, both make it known that the focus is not on them as 'stars' or 'celebrities,' but as multimedia (and musical) talents. |
