i have recieved several emails from different folks asking me to act on trolling over the past few days. I normally don't get involved with such things as they tend to correct themselves, but i am seeing a BIG increase lately for some reason. the coc states plainly: 6.) Repeatedly attacking or insulting a person in an effort to elicit a negative response. You have a right to disagree, but please do so in a respectful manner This includes following people from thread to thread insulting and attacking them about statements on other threads. I was asked by one member yesterday to have it stopped and today see him doing the same thing to someone else. PLEASE STOP. If you have a relevent opinion or comment on the thread fine. Brining up crap from past threads to insult or demean another poster does no one any good. it ruins the flow of the thread begins flame wars. I for one don't have enough time to track down every post and BABYSIT a few individuals. Please play nice. thanks Mike |
Thanks, i posted this in hopes we won't have to take care of anything. Sometimes things just happen in the normal flow of the site. We have a small problem, hopefully we can correct it without cracking skulls. |

Ban anyone saying that goddamn pie. I hate that pie, it's in every thread. It's worse than all your base... I hate BOTD too, that is so stupid to look at teaser pics and fully clothed womenz. It's just for you married shmucks that feel guilty looking at porn cuz "it's cheating". I hate +1, unless tastefully done. I hate IBTL and I hate off topic posts by whiny losers who don't have memberships. But I love Arfkom, I guess it's that fact that despite all these things people do, and still do it's still so fucking sweet to come here, no matter what.

if it involves what i posted above yes it does and it needs to stop. Fun and games are one thing. being a PIA and stirring shit is something else. Discuss all you want but keep it within the COC. This job is hard enough without having to babysit. mike |

you may disagree with imbrog but i have yet to see him troll anyone. he may start some topics that get on your nerves but that is not a coc violation. don't like him don't read him. Until the COC is crossed he has as much right as anyone else to post. mike |

Lately too many people on this board are too quick to attack someone for posting a thread without first debating the merits of it. AR15.com is first and foremost a debating society (at least in the General Subjects board). You post a question and then get a debate started about it. Everyone has an opinion and it is interesting to read different views on the subjects posted. I like coming here because I learn a lot about what people have to say about everything from home airconditioners to how to get rid of a computer virus. This place is like an information Super-Walmart: one stop shopping!  According to Freud, "directly attacking a stranger on the Internet from the comfort of your home without cause shows the attacker is trying to compensate for having a small penis."  |

i will be the first to admit i don't look at EVERY thread. If it is brought to my attention i will look into it. i will admit that IMBRO stirs the pot. I will also say he pretty much takes twice the shit he gives back. I can pretty much count on at least 4-5 troll posts from the same people on every thread he starts or responds to. If you guys can't play nice then take it to the pit and leave it there. We have enough shit slinging in GD without rehashing the same stuff in every thread. mike |
