The end always gets me, when they roll the pictures of him as a kid, with his dog; I cry like a baby, as a veteran, a Dad, the father of a Marine and Sailor, a son, a brother, unashamedly and heartfelt.
"Shane Comes Home" is another excellent book done about the very first Marine KIA in Iraq. Great stories, heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I thank God everyday that we still have people such as these willing to serve something greater than themselves. |
