Yes he did.  Not the biggest KB fan, but after seeing that movie, I don't know anyone that could have done it better than him.  I mean he was perfect.  The scene where he met the Army Sgt. who was escorting his brother was one of the most powerful movie scenes I have ever seen.

The end always gets me, when they roll the pictures of him as a kid, with his dog; I cry like a baby, as a veteran, a Dad, the father of a Marine and Sailor, a son, a brother, unashamedly and heartfelt.

"Shane Comes Home" is another excellent book done about the very first Marine KIA in Iraq. Great stories, heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time.

I thank God everyday that we still have people such as these willing to serve something greater than themselves.
