This is a fire extinguisher with a standard load of Tannerite in it. To the left is a small bag of flour, and to to the left of it is a lit raod flare....

A very effective visual aid is to set the Tannerite near a bag of flour, along with a lit road flare. Gives good secondary effects in the form of large flames. This vid was shot in the midday sun, yet the flames are pretty visable.

If you don't have Tannerite, just go with the flour and flare trick. No boom, but kickass large flames.

Happy shooting.

The flour is thrown into the air like dust and lit by the flare making fireball.  You can do the same thing by putting flour in a straw or paper towel roll and blowing it out over a lighter.

Excellent!  We're taking a shooting trip to Nevada and already have eight cases of Tannerite going, probably more by the time we leave.

We were already talking about doing this with flour.  Nice to see that it works!

Lots of Gasoline and Aluminium powder is nice too!!!!  A fireball that can be seen for miles is always a good thing, trust me!!!!

Flour / grain dust burn very fast.   There have been some spectacular fires at grain elevators.

There is a type of IED that uses flour or other powdered media.  If prepared right, you could lift the roof off of the average high school gymnasium-sized room with a medium sized duffel bag.

When I was a kid we did something in a science class at school.

You take an ice cream bucket.

cut a small hole in the bottom corner and run a hunk of surgical tube through it. then you put a small funnel in the tubing and sape it to the side of the pail so it's facing up.

Then you fill the small funnel with some flour.

then you place a lit candle in the bucket, put the lid on, and then give a blast of air from a compressor into the tube.

The flour gets blown into a cloud, cloud is ignighted by the candle, and the top of the bucket is blown off with a good bang.

The teacher was showing us what happens when a grain elevator explodes.

Seems like it would be pretty easy to take out a building with a scaled up version of this.

Be careful when you stick your head over the bucket to blow out the candle.  Singed a few eyebrows when I missed the candle...

Good camera work

My latest tanerite adventure was sticking a rather large quanity in a pop bottle up a stuffed animals ass and not telling my buddies at the range.  lol

I don't quite as dry an area as you do to shoot, what's the fire danger from
1. tannerite alone
2. the flaming flour powder + tannerite?
