It's good to see a corporation that tried to meddle in politics and social issues take a beating.  They should focus on trying to make money and not social activism.  It's like a rock-paper-scissors game.

1. Liberal City in NC (Charlotte) passes the anyone in any bathroom ordnance

2. Elected Representative of NC overturn with a state law

3. Target passes Corporate Bathroom policy to overrule the will of voters and customers

4. Customer tell target to Fuck Off and spend their money elsewhere

5. Target Stock tanks, Walmart earnings see surprise boost.

Update: Walmart vs Target Stock Today

I thought America was going to boycott target back when 9/11 happened?. See how long that lasted, it slowly faded away.

I don't shop there anyway so I don't give a shit.

I never patronized Target to begin with.
They are anti hunting / shooting

The closest Target to me is 20 miles away. Never went there before so I am not technically boycotting it.

The only thing that annoys me is that I don't have a Target nearby. I actually get to hear English in there

And people SMILE!

I'd have to drive 2 hours to boycott one.

I quit going there long before this. Didn't Target say not to CC in their stores a while back? I think I quit going then, not that we went much much before.

Amazon, hardware store, and the grocery store pretty much covers it. Occasional trip to bass pro to look at something before I order it online

My entire family and almost all of my friends quit going there.

My wife an I used to spend a couple of hundred at Target every week.

haven't been to one in months, now I won't go there again

but, there is a Chic-fil-a in the same parking lot that I will fo to for lunch today

I have no plans to change my Target shopping habits.

Which means if I'm near one and need something they might have, I'll go buy it.

That happens about once a year maybe...

My family and I rarely go there. They charge too much for something I can get elsewhere. Plus, they don't sell ammo.

I never saw the point of Target stores to begin with.
Went in one time, it was not for me. That was about 15 years ago.
I damn sure won't go into one now.
I hope they go under.

F target..... How can you name a company target but not sell guns, ammo, hunting supplies, and anything shooting related or even archery related.

Yup, still go to Target. Couldn't care less about this whole bathroom nonsense.

There are maybe one or two seasonal items I get at Target, just to avoid shipping.

I have not and shall not use their restrooms, so I don't give a damn about their pandering.

What the fuck is this shit, now Target is a democracy?

I never shop there.

I only go there a couple times a year for athlete's foot spray.  I'll still keep going until I find someone else with the same spray, but I doubt my $7 a year is keeping them open.

If I needed something from them I'd get it, trans poopers or not. I don't even know where the closest one is though so it really makes no difference.

I actively avoid target anyway. so this doesn't matter to me.

the khaki wearing, Prius driving, melinial hipster dooshbags that shop at target, along with the stuck up soccermoms riding their wave of self absorbed entitlement are reason enough for me to stay away.

I don't shop at Target. My main issue is they don't sell guns, ammo, archery.... or TARGETS

The only thing I like about Target is the cute little manager I have to deal with on the shop lifting cases.

What decision, lol? I have and still OC there every week when my ex and I go shopping. The manager even once stood up on my side against a customer who complained, saying "This is Montana.".

ETA: They are friendlier, and have hotter women and a distinct lack of Wal*Mart looking shoppers and employees. There is a reason there isn't a "People of Target" website ;)

If they sold guns and ammo I would definitely shop there, but alas they don't. Last time I went there I couldn't find what I needed (a grapefruit knife). Walmart is fine by as long as I avoid the first of the month.

I shop there if I can't find something at my other retail haunts.  Target is fourth or fifth on the retail list.
I don't give a rats ass about the transgender bathroom wars.  More important stuff out there to worry about.
5/19/2016 1:20:02 PM EDT
[#41]
I literally don't give a shit about who uses what bathroom. Target has products we use at a price we want to pay, so I continue to shop there.

If I boycotted every store I disagreed with, I'd live in a fuckin' cardboard box without much to my name.
5/19/2016 1:21:21 PM EDT

We mainly bought TP and paper towels there. No special trips as the nearest target is 40 miles away. Usually once a month.

Haven't been back in over a month. And won't go back.

I'm not boycotting Target because they let folks confused to which gender they want to be.

I have only bought one item at Target my entire life.  They carry very few things I need.

Yes I still shop at Target. I don't give a shit about their bathroom policy. They also requested people leave their guns at home, I still conceal carry there (glock 19 obviously).
