We have had ideas here about ways to delay paying your taxes as a way of protest, and a few other ideas posted as well. I was listening to Fox the other day when the Judge said if we wanted to really have a tax protest, getting each of our state legislatures to pass an amendment to the Constitution to repeal the 16th Amendment would be the best way to get the federal governments attention. I imagine if even a couple of states did this it would send a far louder message to congress and the obama administration than all of the tea parties, and it would keep all of us out of the ire of the IRS.
To do this we would need 2/3 of the states to pass this, is it even possible? What do you guys and gals think? |
