Why is it that satellite Radio and GPS is an omni-directional feed that requires no tuning in. And satellite television requires a dish, that is so sensitive that you bump the damn thing a quarter inch and you loose the feed? What the hell, if it works for the radio, why not use an omni antenea for the TV? ![]() |
| There's a lot more information traveling down into your dish than there is going to an XM or Sirius radio system. We have the technology to be omnidirectional with TV though... But think how long this structure has been in place for? Then think how new satellite radio is? It would cost a lot to switch the TV system to the same system as the radio. At least that is my take on it. Give it some time. |
