Ted Nugent, rock star and avid bow hunter from Michigan, was being interviewed by a French journalist, an animal rights activist The discussion came around to deer hunting. The journalist asked, ' What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, ' Are you my friend? ' or is it ' Are you the one who killed my brother? Nugent replied, ' Deer aren ' t capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, what am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away. Some of you guys don't like Ole tedrow , but I will say one think about him he damn sure is not afraid to stand up now.
I watched the news every night in those days late 60's and early 70's Seeing the body count being posted daily and as it crept on I was worried that I might get caught up in that war. I probably would have tried for the navy or coast guard if it had come down to it but it did not. We did win in Vietnam but we lost last year when a commie was made president nullifying everything we did in The cold war ,Vietnam and Korea. Sorry vets it was all for nothing. 
Other than not knowing when to filter his filthy mouth I like Ted and I have always liked his music He is not afraid to say what is right now and that means something. |

Your post has the most fail of the year so far. I think we wanted to slow or stop the spread of communism in southeast asia and I think we did that. Vietnam was lost because the people of south vietnam were not willing to hold the line but we did our part in giving them a fighting chance . We tied up the communist movement there for 20 years and won most major battles of the war. |
