I am trying to port my landline number to Ooma.  The request was rejected by my telephone company.  Here is part of the email:

This email is to inform you that we have
received a rejection while trying to port your telephone number over to Ooma.
We have received a rejection due to missing Wireless PIN.

Is there a wireless PIN with a landline?  How do I find out what the PIN number is?

Ooma sort of assumes that the number you're porting is wireless. Call your landline company and request the information to port out the number. Then call Ooma and do it over the phone.

I other news, I just ported my wireless number to Google Fi, and I had no idea what my PIN was. I left it blank, and my number was ported in like 10 minutes.

I work for a cell phone company, so im VERY familiar with the porting process.  They are requesting what would be your landline ACCOUNT pin or password.  some companies call it a pin, some call it a password.  usually its 5 characters or less, sometimes its set by default to the last 4 of your social or the last 4 of your phone number.  I'd call your landline provider and request to confirm or change it if necessary, then give the updated info to ooma.  you'll be gtg from there
