I just dropped 233 bucks on a 45 minute termite inspection, which also keeps my termite bond intact. Does that seem like a ridiculous price? This company bills their guy out at about 300 bucks/hour. After I pass the bar, I'll be surprised if I get billed at 200/hour starting off. Maybe I should have looked into a career in pest control. I'm only planning on living here for about 5 years, and the house has been treated with a 5 year chemical, so maybe I'll skip this next year. |
I probably should have shopped around, but the company I went with already pretreated and treated my house while it was being built. They seem to have an excellent local reputation. It seems like in FL termite protection is more or less unavoidable. |
