CNN just called the Palestinian terrorists that killed 11 Isrealies at the Munich Olympics "commandos". They made a point of it too, as they called them "commandos" several times. I wonder how long until these assclowns call the Sept 11 hijackers "commandos", what bullshit.

One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist (or commando, as the case may be) . . .

commando equipment;

No, that is not so.  One man's terrorist might be another man's freedom fighter, but a commando has a specific meaning.  A terrorist might use commando tactics at times, just as a resistance fighter(I hesistate to say that anyone who uses terrorist tactics could truly be fighting for freedom) might use terrorist tactics, but the terms are not synonymous.

British Army, 1775:  most well-trained, well-equipped army in the world.

Continentals, 1775:  used own firearms, some had no boots, no uniforms.

the difference:  George Washington fought military targets, not civilian ones and he never, ever, ever strapped explosives to himself and walked into parliament.
