Or rather... "Trying to rescue my fudge from an epic fuckup" 
I have a few extra cans of evaporated milk in the cupboard. I was going to save them for pie (τ or 2π for you math purists) but I've found that using cream makes for a much tastier, smoother pie, hence leftover cans of the evap stuff. Inside one of the can labels was a recipe for fudge. So far I've managed to fuck up 2 out of 3 batches  . The first batch I used a whole can (12 oz) vs the 2/3 cup I was suppose to use. I tried to rescue it with more sugar but it just never worked right and never turned solid. It did, however, make a great topping for my popcorn, so it wasn't a total loss. (Mint chocolate chip too!)
The second batch ... I think might have turned out OK. It's in the fridge cooling off. It's a bit more solid than I expected but maybe it'll work. Cinnamon flavor this time. The third batch... is what I'm calling "Texas Fudge". Like the second batch, I had the proportions right and I was considering what flavor to make... Peanut butter? Bacon? Would PB & Banana work? Then, instead of putting in a pinch of salt like I was suppose to I just started shaking it like crazy.  WTF did I just do? I just made salty sweet mix?  Pretty gross. But... do I chuck it out, or try to save it? .... I decided to try saving it. I added the rest of the evap-milk (maybe 1/4 cup), & another half cup of sugar. Still too much salt. Fuck it might as well make it bacon-flavor! 
I added in 4 spoons of bacon grease: better but not balanced yet. Added in a good dose of liquid hickory smoke: still better, almost passable even. Final touch was Dillo dust  which really balanced the flavor - not too sweet, not too salty
So here's my "Texas Fudge". I'll let you know if it's edible once it cools. No I'm not in texas but fuck it, it's got Dillo dust in it so part of it's from Texas
