Been looking for some stainless steel shelves for my measley ammo supply.

Craigslist and $50 later!

..and yes the room is still a wreck from having to move EVERTHING in it to make room for the shelves.

Those shelves are barely bending. You need more ammo!

Congrats, good score.

Can't tell if you did or not, but you had better anchor that shelving unit to a stud in the wall.  I had the same setup (not ammo though) and it got a little top heavy and came down.  Nobody hurt, but a giant mess.

I have more, that's just my loose ammo, not my sealed cases

Now I need to find a small safe to go next to my monster safe since that one's now full

I had thought about that but that's why I put the most weight on the bottom.

Hopefully if it does fall over it won't be at 3am

Get yourself 2 6 or so inch strips of nylon webbing and 2 three inch drywall screws.  Wrap the webbing around a shelf cross bar, overlap the ends and drive the screw threw the ends into the stud.  Works like a charm.

You can get those shelves NIB (sans snazzy green posts) at Sam's for $79-89.

I wouldn't use them for ammo....I do use them for food stuffs.  Stacking anything more than a measly ammo stash on those things is asking for trouble.

I think you need to have the scar in every picture you post just to piss off the whiners. Photoshop works.

Does Lowe's sell those shelving units at all?  I've been looking for them.  Costco used to sell a basic setup,  but has shifted to much crappier brands/models.

What's really unfortunate about Costco no longer carrying them is that I've seen the full range of options over in Thailand, and there are a shitload of great things that (whatever the company is) makes for that shelving system.  I wish I could find a website or even a retailer that carried everything.

It can be good for something from time to time. And lots of scammers.
