The carrier will reportedly be renamed Shi Lang, after a Ming Dynasty admiral who surrendered to the Qing Court and helped it conquer Taiwan in 1681.



Got that tidbit from looking it up on Wiki after a somewhat new article on the blaze.

Hmmm.... naming after a guy who helped conquer Taiwan... I see nothing to worry about.
