The mid-70s and the Cosmic Cowboy movement was a special time indeed. This music in the traditional country bars with the beginnings of Southern Rock and the growing scourge of Disco made for an interesting bar scene.

Back around 76 or 7 smashing disco records were a thing in Boston. WBCN dropped disco albums from a helicopter i think ( WBCN )...

Edit: Not sure about the station but sure about smash lol. Tube tops were a thing and fucking amazing (:
