Back at the hotel for the day. Bypass piece #2 was wrestled into place and it looks like the alignment for piece #3 is off about 6". No play in the line flange because it's on a horizontal sandwich valve. No way they can flex that line enough. They'll fuck up the bolts on the valve and put too much torque on the live pipeline.

Mine doesn’t have it because it’s plain black and yellow and it’s good for up to 20,000 lbs The hemi couldn’t get up to 20,000lbs but it was cheaper than the 16,000lbs tag |

This mornings drive through Lincoln County, NM was very nice. Beautiful country. Lots of road markers with bits of history on the Lincoln County wars. That’s where Billy the Kid came to great renown, Cowbell.
The rest of the day has been rather boring, though. We are now in Texas east of Amarillo. Going to set the anchor in Elk City and then tomorrow evening we should be back at the farm. |
