And they’re even better with avocado instead of lettuce. Avocado = green slimy mush The best BLT is bacon, lettuce, tomato and miracle whip instead of mayo |

The wife's home made Rueben sammich is best.
Tried them from different restaurants or delis. The wife's Rueben kicks all of their asses. |

Muffeletta is very dependent on the bread. I have had great ones, and more very meh sandwiches.
Dozens of poboys from N.O. solid meh. Fried fare always over salted and meager product. I had a catfish poboy with 1 tiny ass piece of fish the size of a chicken finger, but half the thickness. Sad, sad, sad. The last sandwich that made an impression on me was JimmyJohn's Gargantuan on French Bread. 16" of meaty greatness. |

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.
One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!". Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs. I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant. |

I don't know about the best, but I really like ribeye steak sandwiches. Hold the bread, please.

While on the topic of breakfast sandwiches, one of my favorites is a ham and egg on rosemary and salt, Montreal style bagel. |

The Reuben is the apex is the sandwich making art.
Top tier- Cubano Muffuletta Pastrami on rye, with mustard A quadruple pig- bacon, grilled ham, pulled pork, smoked sausage (note, requires the right bread) Italian cold cut sandwich Argentinian “chivito” Fried soft shell crab sandwich Second tier Banh mi Philly cheese steak A “club” with smoked brisket instead of fucking turkey Italian beef Lobster roll BLT, but only if really fresh (home grown) tomatoes are available When I was in Manhattan recently, I sat and talked about pastrami for about half an hour with one of the guys that makes it at Katz’s - they make a damned good pastrami, but I left the restaurant knowing I was on the right track. It was cool talking about meat with meat experts. |
