Recently spent a long weekend with the wife in Frankfort and Bardstown. She wanted one of the EH Taylor boxes since they were 50% off and I have to admit it's pretty cool and functional. Attached File Attached File |

Im headed to Kentucky this weekend for the first time since moving to Knoxville. Ill have the wife and kids in tow, so wont be able togo crazy. Im planning on hitting up Michters distellery Saturday and we will be stopping at Buffalo Trace on Sunday. Im also planning on stopping at a few stores if the kids dont get too bored. |

I had been dogging the manager at a local Convenience store for 9-months to snag these. The Corporate Office entered all their stores in the State into the BTAC / Pappy lottery last November and this store in a town of about 400-people got these. The manager had no idea they were coming or what to do with them but was told by his boss to just "hang on to them". The THH was actually from the 2024 lottery, so had been sitting there for almost 2-years. Anyway - I just happened to walk into the store yesterday to find out the Manager quit. I asked about these bottles and the new kid that was there dug them out from the cabinet and sold them to me. At MSRP. FINALLY.... Attached File ETA I also know where there are bottles of Sazerac 18 and Van Winkle lot B sitting. Same scenario. Its crazy. So, I'm just playing the waiting game. The fact that every store that sells liquor has the same chance at these bottles does make it more "fair" instead of favorites being played for how much Fireball you sell. |

Just got back from a fun weekend in KY. Had the kids with us so we couldn't go nuts with tours, but still.came away with some great bottles. I really lucked out at Michters, looking forward to cracking the 10 year tonight. The family had a great time at Buffalo Trace and my kids loved the playground. Attached File |

I hate that the cards have to fall just right for someone to get a fair shot at those bottles, but it is a thrill when you realize the moment is at hand. I snagged a few BTACs during COVID when the liquor stores had reduced staff, many of whom didn't know the ropes that well. I suspect that some managers' caches were discovered and sold. |

Have any of you tried any of the Dingle products? We discovered them during a trip to Ireland about 10 years ago. They produce a vodka, gin, and a single malt whiskey. Good stuff but I've only been able to find the whiskey in a total Beer and Wine store. Attached File |
