Who decided that lime green was the official zombie color?
Can you imagine a real zombie apocalypse with dudes running around in a bunch of lime green gear? |

I have a Spikes Zombie lower from 2013. Think that's when it slowed down.

The most cringy thing is Zombie stickers on Jeep wranglers. It's still very much alive and just as retarded.

Quoted: It would be real interesting to watch a trial from the outside, like Rittenhouse, where zombie ammo was used, and hear what the DA would concoct up to demonize the accused. And since people are talking about it, here is the reticle. http://images.wikia.com/callofduty/images/d/de/EOTech_EOTech_Zombie_Stopper_BOII.png View Quote Gross. I bet the person who bought one, on average, has a neck beard, weights well over 300lbs, and smells like a gun show. |

Quoted: Heck yes! I have a box of 45 and 308 of the stuff. Just looked at GB too... heck yes.. good investment! https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/21179/zmax_JPG-2244881.JPG View Quote DAMMITT MAN! I haven’t priced it since I packed it away years ago. A new corvette, jorts and some fresh Reebok’s are in my near future. |

Quoted: Yup was as in past tense a huge zombie fan from Ramero and the serpent & the rainbow type stuff. Bailed fast and hard as soon as it went mainstream. Same with the vampires was a huge Bella Lagosie fan until true bood and twilight. Now im all vamp who? Zombie what? Everything woke turns to shit and the vampire & zombie crazed are proof of that shit. View Quote Zombies are woke now? |

I bought a zombie green/orange ESEE knife because I dropped a regular knife one time climbing up a steep hill while out searching for morels and had an awful time trying to find it in all the leaf litter.

And "Deadworld" in tv or movie form will probably never happen... Fuck what the walking dead has become...
|
|
|
Still relevant today if you keep in mind who the real Zombies are.
ATF, FBI, Co-vid officials, just about any 'woke' politician, LE, or DemoNazi. Basically, who ever will carry out orders with total disregard to whether it's right or wrong. |

One of my local shops still has (last time I was in) several thousand of the 50 grain 223 V Max bullets on sale.

Imho https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j69OPw9nFHw View Quote I would say, while not technically zombies, "28 Days Later" kicked off the zombie craze revival, along with **douche chills*** Resident Evil. Both of those movies preceded Dawn of the Dead 2004. |

Quoted: Who decided that lime green was the official zombie color? Can you imagine a real zombie apocalypse with dudes running around in a bunch of lime green gear? View Quote IDK for sure. But things that glow in the dark put off that weird green light. So that color has been associated with radioactivity. Most modern Zombie stories involve radioactivity as a plot device. Lime green is reasonably close to the weird green that glow in the dark stuff produces. |

Those eotech's with the biohazard reticle are gonna be collector's items one day. Change my mind.

Both of those movies preceded Dawn of the Dead 2004. View Quote Came to say this. 2002 - 28 Days Later, Resident Evil 2004 - Dawn of the Dead, Resident Evil 2, Shaun of the Dead 2005 - Land of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis & Rave to the Grave 2006 - The Zombie Diaries 2007 - 28 Weeks Later, Diary of the Dead, Resident Evil 3, 2008 - Day of the Dead, 2009 - Zombieland, Survival of the Dead, Dead Snow, There were "zombie" movies all the way through the 2000s. IMO 28 Days & Dawn '04 were the best films of the decade, w/ Dawn being maybe the best zombie film ever. Honestly, I'd say The Walking Dead was when the genre really went mainstream though. After it everything was zombie this & zombie that. |

Something had to replace the Aliens of the 90's. 9/11 killed off the alien threat. People realized that there are worse enemies on Earth that need taken care of.
Then, when people got over the shock of the war, and it became mundane, people went to zombies. Now that is played out, people are beginning again to focus on aliens. And just like in the 1990's, the democratic government is playing it up. |

early 2000s, that was 5-10 years back.
walking dead didnt start until 2010. |

I remember there was a VERY long thread in GD about catching and keeping a female zombie as a "companion"

I didnt buy into any of it. Except that Dem politicians are zombies and always will be. Nothing will change that.

I loved "28 Days Later", "The Dawn of the Dead (remake)", and "28 Weeks later". "The Walking Dead" and even "Fear the Walking Dead" were good at their start.
I loved the endless "what would you do during the zombie apocalypse" discussions. They were great. However, the Zombie tactical products went too far. Those were cringe. |

I also have some of the zombie ammo. Bought a few zombie novels. as far as TWD, I checked out about half-way through season 2.
For me, the zombie stuff ended when I started see stuff like Gardening Tools in Bright Green with blood splashes. Seriously? And for me it really ended when Relatives started buying Zombie stuff as gifts. Holy shit. Peak Zombie Crap! (And that was what...10-12 years ago. I'm pretty surprised that Zombie Stuff is still apparently quite the Trendy Fad. |

I have a ZMB Mossberg lever action tacticool .30-30 rifle
No joke. Its fun to shoot suppressed, though. |

Quoted: Quoted: I bought an absolute shitload of the z-max projectiles when midway started clearing them out They were a-max bullets with a green tip. Shot a few thousand blackout reloads with that and still have at least 2k loaded up for blasting V-Max, not A-Max That said, the 110 gr. V-Max is a great Blackout bullet. |

Quoted: Zombies were cool, The Walking Dead hadn't started sucking, and gun companies had gotten on the band wagon producing Zombie themed stuff. I remember Zombie ammo from Hornady, Zombie themed lowers, and even Zombie Eotechs. But what was the absolutely most cringey, lamest, wtf, Zombie themed item produced? View Quote I’ve got some of that hornady zombie max ammo. I bought a box just to have. |

Quoted: I still have a crappy plastic “zombie” ammo box somewhere. It was a gift, I promise View Quote Those are different in appearance only compared to without Green Swirls. They make good small Tool Boxes or Ratchet Strap storage. Zombie label peels right off with a little heat from heat gun. best part is Getting 20 on clearance for $100 after the fad wore off. |
