The Cooking Channel is quickly becoming a clone of the Food Network. Hell, they even have reruns of Iron Chef running at the same time sometimes.
The chick who does the French cooking is good, not great, but good. Plus she doesn't pronounce words in an annoying way like a certain "Italian" cook does on her show. (Pancetta is pronounced pan-chet-uh not PAIN-CHAY-TAH!) At any rate the cynic in me says it's all crap and will quickly devolve into stupid ass cooking contests with the goofiest ingredients imaginable. |
