Great animated characters, reminded me a little of the old Rankin Bass style of characters. The story was good. The only weak part of the film was the songs, and usually Elfman is so good.

BTW, You think Elfman would have had to put Dead Man's Party into the movie somewhere.

It was okay. I thought it too a bit too long to get started, but was pretty good. Not worth the 8 dollar admission, but a matinee price wouldn't be bad.

It was a rip off of their own movie "The Nightmare before Chirstmas" that was done years earlier.  Even had a lot of the same people.  I would have though they could have come up with somthing a bit more different after so may years.  Oh, well.

I haven't seen this movie yet but I can imagine it would be a bit like nighmare before christmas as you guys suggested,

Tim Burton is a crazy cat and he likes to stick with actors that are way up there in the weird/unique scale. Notice all his movies have alot of the same actors.

I still want to see this movie. Maybe this friday night.
