I liked them although Robert Smith weirded me out. He looks like shit these days, but his voice is as good as ever. I haven't followed them in years and years, hope he's ok and good to know he's still singing! I thought he was a great front man for the group. |

A friend of mine saw them live recently and said they were great. |

The jealousy is real. I'm only 22, so I wasn't even alive when they were playing their best shit live. Quoted:

Saw them on their Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me tour in 87. Still love their work!!! The jealousy is real. I'm only 22, so I wasn't even alive when they were playing their best shit live. In my opinion, crossing the generation gap is the greatest compliment for musicians. DAMN I'm old!!!! |

You should check out Blood Flowers. It's a classic. Quoted:

Liked them when I was younger, but they lost me after Wish. About all I occasionally listen to now is Three Imaginary Boys. You should check out Blood Flowers. It's a classic. Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, and the one that Cold is on is great too. (Though I like them all, I've been going through their discography on Spotify.) |

I had every album they ever made, including imports. I was a fanboi all the way through 1992 or so.
It's funny, when news broke that they were touring this year, people I hadn't heard from in two decades came out of the woodwork to tell me, and to thank me for introducing them to the band. I never liked them live, but I can forgive them for that. |

I am a fan. I haven't really listen to much lately. Their older stuff is still their best.
Any time I listen to Disintegration I think of a girl that I was madly in love with. She was also madly in love with me. We met on more than one occasion half way between our homes (she lived in Il and I lived in Tx). We stayed in bed for 2 days listening to that whole album the entire time. |

though.
