A stripper with a criminal record says she was raped.

DNA comes back negitive.

A Durham city council member says they are "sick and tired of the past behavior of the Lacrosse team"

Then the DA says he is going to continue the case against the players. Black people are upset, women groups are upset at this whole ordeal.

I guess the DA has no choice but to go until he gets what he is shopping for.

Have to find someone that is guilty, forget protecting the innocent. Well, the one black guy on the team has already been ruled out.

They have pictures of her before the party with bruises.

I think justice is going to be left out of this one.

I tend to disagree.  At least one, if not 20, of those guys have parents who will hire good lawers.

What, are they going to charge ALL 46 guys?  Based on what, her word that THREE of them beat/raped her? There's certainly not probable cause to charge all of them, we nkow that the story is only 3 did it.

This thing is not going to trial unless there is evidence we don't know about, which is almost a certainty.

She got pissed, left and then came back with a plan to stir up a bunch of shit. Now it has taken on a life of its own.

She wasn't raped, it is all bullshit.

And she is not even a stripper anymore she is just a working girl trying to make it thru college.

I am really curious what the other 2 strippers said about the whole thing though and why doesn't anyone know that?

And look at all the pathetic women protesting and fucking whining without knowing jack about what really went down, what evidence there was, etc.  Just crucify some men because, hey, they feel inadequate and want some guy strung up so they can feel better about themselves.
Now that there is no DNA evidence they are all backpeddling and making ridiculous statements and assertions.
I told my wife when all this started that every time some black woman comes along and accuses a bunch of white guys of raping her it always turns out to be bullshit. Apparently the same is true of this case.

There is no way she had sex with three guys, not to mention rape, without any DNA beign present. No fucking way.

In any event, any defense attorney worth a shit should be able to shred the prosecution's case. Going to get expensive though.  For everyone but the stripper.

So we have a car thief who tried to kill a cop, who is now a hooker who claims to be stripper (yeah they paid her $800 for a 2 minute lapt dance), claiming to have been raped, who cannot ID the rapists and there is no physical evidence to provide any ID. Doesn't logic dictate that the DNA samples provided by the team had to be compared to DNA found on the stripper?  If there was no DNA found on her then why the hell did they take comparison samples in the first place?  There MUST have been DNA present so the question should be.........Who's DNA is it?!?

That seems to be the point:

This woman had somebody's DNA on/in her. Most likely this was obtained via a rape kit. The LaCrosse players all submitted DNA samples for comparison.

NONE of the DNA provided by the LaCrosse players matched the DNA found in/on the woman.

Meaning that whomever she had intercourse with, willingly or unwillingly, wasn't one of the LaCrosse players. Whomever the DA decides to charge has a pretty good reasonable doubt arguement built in by the DNA test results.

Now if we have a "rape" victim who cannot ID her attacker, has evidence of whatever injuries she claimed to have received at the hands of the LaCrosse players BEFORE she went to their party, and a cooter full of DNA that doesn't match ANY of the LaCrosse players.....Why is there such a movement to prosecute?

Could it be because there is an election for DA going on right now?

Could it be because of the PC "take back the night" bullsh*t that goes on at college campuses?

Could it be because we have rich white boys involved, which automagically means they are guilty?

Who knows....

That was my initial understanding too, but it didn't match media reports from yesterday which is why I edited my post. DNA samples were taken from all over her body, under her fingernails, on her cell phone and clothing, vaginal swab, etc.... but yesterday the media was reporting there was "no DNA on her to indicate she had sex of any type recently." We're not getting the whole truth here, but then the parties involved seem to be more concerned with trying this case in the media than with justice.

What worries me is that I'm hearing the university talking about "Lacroosse culture".
Sort of like the Brit's "gun culture", "knife culture", et al.

I saw on the news today that there were 48 people on that team (?).
How many were actually at the "party"?
4/12/2006 9:48:28 AM EDT
[#38]
It was reported on FoxNews yesterday that one of the other strippers said the "victim" never mentioned anything about being assaulted after they left the party. The news also said that the pictures show she was very intoxicated and her legs and arms were all bruised and cut up from falling down repeatedly before she got there.

We got a couple of strippers for a cousin's bachelor party several years ago. They showed up with their own bodyguard/bouncer/boyfriend or whatever. I thought that was a standard practice.

This all boils down to one person looking for a payday and a DEMOCRAT that has to do something for the black vote in his upcoming election. This snip below sheds a little more light.

Attorney Joe Cheshire, who represents one of the team's captains, said the report indicated authorities took DNA samples from all over the alleged victim's body.

"They swabbed about every place they could possibly swab from her, in which there could be any DNA," he said.

Cheshire said even if the alleged attackers used a condom, it's likely there would have been some DNA evidence found suggesting an assault took place. He said in this case, the report states there was no DNA on her to indicate that she had had sex of any type recently.

"The experts will tell you that if there was a condom used they would still be able to pick up DNA, latex, lubricant and all other types of things to show that -- and that's not here," Cheshire said.

Good point.

Its typical marxist class struggle.

Pit rich against poor, black against white, position yoursewlf as the defenders of the poor and the black, and magically you get their votes.

Forget that you've positioned yourself as the defenders of the poor and blacks for the last 50 years, and haven't done diddly to actually help them....

...somehow they'll just keep on voting for you.

Well, if you ALSO occasionally steal money from people who actually work to earn their own living, and give it to the poor and blacks.
